November Favourites

Hey everyone! It's been a while since I posted any monthly favourites. I actually meant to post these as my October favourites but I completely forgot I'd taken the pictures until it was too late. There were a few products I wanted to showcase for this month but they can wait for now and these are still really great products and I still wanted to showcase them for you. The products in the months favourites are:

Barry M - Get Up & Glow* and Super Natural Eyeshadow* Palettes

Barry M - Midnight Gelly Collection*. These polishes were released for Halloween (and would have been much more suited to my October favourites!), and include four dark polishes. I love the idea behind them and I think they were executed well too. Unfortunately my camera didn't pick up the colour differences when I did swatches so there was no point in posting them. But they're part of the Gelly polishes, which are always great so that should say enough!

Barry M - Super Natural Eyeshadow Palette* (which I don't think is sold anymore unfortunately as it was limited edition but you may be able to find it on Ebay or Amazon). This is absolutely beautiful and I've been using it a lot recently, the pigmentation is gorgeous and the shades are perfect for autumn!

Barry M - Get Up & Glow Palette* I was very (pleasantly) surprised at how pigmented these are. I've been using them before I go out in replacement of my previous blusher and bronzer. I'd definitely recommend them if you're in the market for something new

Gelish - Tan My Hide*, I fell in love with gel polishes last year but I have very few nude shades, especially not any quite these perfect. It's more of a pink shade but I really like it and I'll be using it this weekend in some christmas nails which you might see on my Instagram - so keep an eye out!

Palmers Coconut Oil Hand Cream* this dropped through the door at the perfect time as my previous hand cream had run out and the current weather definitely calls for hand cream. If you like coconut this is perfect for you, if you don't then it's probably not! It smells great and it's doing wonders for my hands. Everyone in the office has been stealing this to use too so I'm going to need a new bottle soon, but it's less than £2 so I don't think I'll be complaining over the price either!

OPI Nail Envy - Strength + Colour Polishes*, I showcased Bubble Bath* in these nails but the others have been used subtly without me really posting about them. That doesn't mean I love them any less though. I loved the original base coat and I love OPI polishes, so this is a perfect combination between the two.

What do you think? Do any of these take your fancy? Let me know in the comments!

July Monthly Favourites

Hey everyone! Today I'm finally getting around to posting my July monthly favourites. I've had my photos done for these for over a week but just haven't had time to sit down and write/edit the post and pictures. I've got quite a lot to show you this month. It was really hard to narrow it down because I've loved so many products and in the end I just decided to show them all. The products I chose are:

Barry M - Brow Wow Light to Medium Eyebrow Pencil*. Before receiving this a couple of months ago I'd never used an eyebrow pencil, I've always just used eyeshadow and a brush for fears of it being too dark (I already have quite full eyebrows). However, I love this! I've even worn it to work which is a rarity for me as I usually only do my eyebrows when I'm going out but I just love how this makes them look and it only takes a few gentle strokes.

Barry M - Cotton*. This is without a doubt the best white I've ever used, I'm already on to my third bottle and it was only released this spring. Opaque in an easy two coats and brilliant for nail art. You've already seen this in my designs repeatedly and I can promise you'll be seeing it even more!

Fancy Witch Black Magic Make Up Brushes*. I've been using the same brushes for so long that I'd forgotten what it was like to use a brand new non-frayed brush. But this collection is perfect to replace my dying old brushes who have definitely seen better days. They're super soft, made from a combination of synthetic and natural hair, and they're just what I've needed. Definitely a firm favourite this month!

Jord 'Ely Black' Watch*. This is my second watch to feature on my monthly favourites but it's too gorgeous to not make the cut. It's made from pure wood (and so is the cute box it comes in) and I'm amazed at how smooth and sleek this is. My boyfriend has even taken a fancy to it and sometimes steals it to wear! I love this as it's something a little different but it still looks gorgeous.

Joan Collins Divine Lips and Nail Lacquer in 'Marilyn'*. I love the idea of having matching lipstick and polish and that's something that Joan Collins Beauty have utilised upon. They have a wide range of nail polish colours which all match up to a lipstick (or vice versa). I chose 'Marilyn' because it's the type of shade I wear on my lips every day and I LOVE it. I've been trying not too use it too much because I dont want to waste it but I love how it lasts and how it looks.

Mavala Polishes*. This is a bit of an odd one because it's not a specific product, but rather a brand. I was sent a selection of Mavala polishes recently, having rarely tried the brand before, and I've absolutely been loving them. I've always been put off by the small bottles (who doesn't want more for their money?) but the colours are so gorgeous and opaque that I couldn't help but love them.

And last but not least OPI - Be There In A Prosecco* and OPI - Gelato On My Mind* from the Venice collection. I will have six of the Venice collection to show you soon (when I have time to edit the pictures!) but I wanted to showcase my two favourites from the collection because I think they're gorgeous, and they're just the kind of colours that are right up my street, with great formulas too.

What do you think of my July favourites? Do you own any of these products?
