How I Soak Off My Gel Polish Manicures

Happy New Year NaiLovelies!

I hope you all had a fantastic festive period over the past two weeks and that 2015 will be a great year for you.

As with the same period last year when I wore my OPI Gelcolor Wonderous Star party manicure for three weeks, I ended up doing the same again this year with my Colors By Llarowe The Mighty Red Baron party manicure.  As I was well overdue a soak off, I decided to make a video of the steps I follow for this my very first post of 2015....

Below is the full video of my gel polish removal and you can also view this directly on YouTube by clicking here.

Underneath The Mighty Red Baron I was wearing an IBD Just Gel Polish Manicure of Pretty In Pewter (3 coats) with Siberian Minx sponged onto the tips (2 coats) for a gradient effect.  As mentioned before, the gel manicure was on my nails for three weeks and for two of those weeks I wore two coats of regular polish on top with a coat of All That Jazz Doubletop Topcoat for Glitter.  The manicures wore extremely well with no lifting or chips during the entire three weeks.

Below are photos of how my manicure started out and how it looked three weeks later prior to removal.

I felt this manicure was crying out for some seasonal stamping so I added a series of gold and silver stamped images using MoYou festive plate and one I purchased from Born Pretty Store.

As I type this blog post I have completely naked nails as I have not had a chance to redo my nails.

I have a product review for Born Pretty coming up next so I just need to get the creative juices flowing to see what I can come up with for this manicure.....watch this space.   In the meantime, if you fancy picking up a few items from The Born Pretty Store, feel free to use my Discount Code ECSQ10 which will give you 10% off of your order.
