Hi everybody! Today is a very good day. Ever since Dance Legend's eye-popping holographic polishes began surfacing in the blog world, I knew I had to get at least one of them. It took a while, but today my dream has finally come true! I ordered three from Rainbow Connection earlier this week and they arrived this morning.
I absolutely had to blog about them, so here is the first of the three: "Robots vs Humans". It is a rich, warm brown shade with an incredibly intense linear holographic finish. It is very densely pigmented, but fairly thick - I applied it slightly too thick and was fairly impatient (understandably I'm sure) so it bubbled somewhat, so next time I will make sure to apply thinner coats and leave slightly longer between those coats. Other than that there were no problems - I used regular base coat and it applied like butter, definitely not a high-maintenance holo!
Pictures all show two coats of "Robots vs Humans", without top coat, in a variety of lighting situations:

(Daylight lamp - notorious for killing the holographic effect. As you can see, it is still visible!!)

As I mentioned, I did not apply top coat before I took these photographs, but I have done since and I am really pleased to say that it has no detrimental effect on the holographic finish whatsoever.
Do you own any Dance Legend polishes, either holographic or otherwise? What do you think?
Thanks for reading, and come back again soon :) x
