Hello friends, and happy Friday (or whatever day it is when you come to read this)! Today's mama Bean collaboration theme is "Seaside". I've been looking forward to this ever since i decided on our themes - i even bought a stamping plate especially for this theme! Come on, let's go to the beach :D
I decided to utilise a textured polish to represent sand (which actually doesn't really show up in my photographs), and then did some cute seaside stamping over that. Products after the pictures!
Base: Nails Inc "Clerkenwell" Leather Effect;
Stamping: Models Own "Purple Grey" & MoYou London Sailor plate 07.
Ma had a completely different idea than me, she chose to represent the sea and sand using a blue and a gold polish, although i can't tell you which they are because i forgot to ask, doh!!
Before i go, i'd just like to talk about a cuticle oil which i received to review from Rainbow Connection. As you may or may not know, Rainbow Connection will be launching their own indie subscription box next month entitled "Paint The Rainbow", and one of the products which will be in the inaugural box is a hand blended, in-house cuticle oil. I LOVE IT!!! I have been neglecting my cuticles lately, and having only been using it for three days so far, i am already seeing results, most noticably on a patch of hard skin which blights my right index finger. My cuticles are softer, more nourished, and look far healthier than they have been lately. The texture of the oil is really nice. It's not runny, but it's also not really greasy our slick, and it absorbs into the skin really really quickly once you've massaged it in, so you can get on with your day without being Mrs Butterfingers! It comes in a really handy tube with a rollerball applicator, and is slimline and plastic, which means it's handbag friendly - bonus! I am really impressed, and i think you will be too :)
Thanks for reading, and come back again soon! :) x
