A 2 Z: D is for Dark

Hello little loves! T'is Thursday, which can mean only one thing: A 2 Z day! This week's theme is brought to you by the letter D, for "Dark".

I had a last-minute change of mind about what I was going to do for this theme. My final choice was Moyra Sand Effect No. 855, a dark charcoal grey textured polish with subtle, fine gold and silver flecks. I applied two coats of this, with no base or top coat:

And then to finish, I stamped an ornate brocade-like image from MoYou London Fashionista plate 07 using AEngland "Excalibur Renaissance":

(Apologies for the inconsistent lighting, the first two pictures were lit by my daylight lamp, the second two by cloudy natural daylight)

And now it's mama Bean's turn! She applied two coats of Nails Inc "Motcomb Street", a very dark navy jelly, and them stamped an image from Cheeky plate CH4 using Sinful Colors "Snow Me White" for a dark starry sky effect:

As ever, don't forget to check the A 2 Z Blog Series Hub Page to see what everybody else is up to this week, and come back again next week for another installment!

Thanks for reading :) x
