Hello my little lovers! I have four new Freckles Polish shades to introduce you to today! They are all autumnal-themed, from two separate collections - the "I'm Spooked Collection" and the "Autumn Dreams Collection".
Realease date and purchase info will be at the end of this post, so let's get going!
Freckles Polish "A Fallen Star"
A Fallen Star is from the "I'm Spooked" collection. It is a very deep navy blue jelly with an abundance of glitters - there is silver holo micro glitter, small silver holo hexes, and silver holo stars. Formula was typical of a jelly based glitter - needs a little bit of babying and a light touch to get it perfect, and I had to fish just a little for the stars. It dries very quickly, and sucks up top coat initially but after a few minutes it smooths itself out again. Pictures all show two coats with top coat.
Freckles Polish "Pumpkin Pie"
Pumpkin Pie is also from the "I'm Spooked" collection. It is a clear-based glitter topper with white, yellow, orange, and copper glitters in varying shapes and sizes. As I have come to expect from Freckles Polish glitter toppers, the formula was perfect. The base is nice and 'springy' and suspends the glitters really well, the glitters are distributed perfectly and it is dense enough to require zero fishing or placement whatsoever. The pictures above show two coats over a pale nude base with top coat; below is a swatch of two coats over a rich brown base with top coat:
Freckles Polish "Kicking Up Leaves"
Kicking Up Leaves is from the "Autumn Dreams Collection". It is a warm copper shimmer with linear holographic finish (the holo has a strong gold tone to it as you can see perticularly in the first picture). The formula was excellent. Intensely pigmented, slightly thicker than some other Freckles holos, but still as smooth as silk to apply, and quick drying. Pictures all show two coats with top coat.
Freckles Polish "It's Not Fir"
It's Not Fir is also from the "Autumn Dreams" collection. It is a rich, blue-toned forest green with linear holographic finish. The colour is perfectly reminiscent of fir trees, and the holographic pigment is especially sparkly like many other Freckles Polish holos. Formula is typical Freckles Polish holo greatness - thin and fluid yet not drippy, and with excellent pigmentation. Easy to apply, quick drying. My pictures show two coats with top coat.
These polishes get a great big "HELL YES!!" from me - superb formulas as always, beautiful, inspired shades, and fun inventive names.
These polishes, and the rest from the two collections which contain them, will be released on Friday 26th September. You can purchase from the Freckles Polish Etsy Store, and keep up to date with news on the Freckles Polish Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts.
Thanks for reading! :) x
